KIADB has also developed 3 growth centres at Dharwad, Hassan and Raichur. Vast extents of land have been acquired and developed in these growth centres with necessary infrastructure. A full pledged Export Promotion Industrial Park [EPIP] was developed by KIADB in Bengaluru and another EPIP is at Mangalore. KIADB is also developing a Special Economic Zones [SEZ] at Hassan and Mangalore.

KIADB is proposing to establish 6 (Six) Food and Agro Technology Parks at Bagalkot, Belgaum, Chitradurga, Jewargi, Maddur and Malur for housing food and agro industries. There are plans to set up Apparel Park at Belgaum and Bellary.

The Corporation started with the following as its Main Services:

1. Establishment and Management of Industrial Estates.
2. Procurement and distribution of raw materials.
3. Assistance towards marketing.
4. Dissemination of information by participating in the internal and international exhibitions.
5. Supply of machinery under Hire Purchase Scheme.
6. Providing Guidance to SSI Entrepreneurs.
7. Providing Technical Library facilities.

The investors may also locate their projects in the private land and for this purpose the land is required to be converted for the industry purpose.
